The Vermilion County Bobcats made some player moves on Tuesday, placing Left Wingers Egor Borshchev and Jimmy Elser on team suspension, releasing Center Emil Strom from a player tryout agreement, and activating Center Sullivan Shortreed and Defenseman Brendan Murphy from Injured Reserve. Borshchev, in his 2nd season with the club, played in 17 games for the Cats with a goal and six assists, 12 penalty minutes, and a +/- of -13. Elser appeared in 3 contests with Vermillion County going scoreless with a +/- of -3 after spending the early part of the season with Roanoke. Strom appeared in 3 contests and had 2 assists, 6 penalty minutes and a +/- of 0. Shortreed returns to the team after an injury in late November. He appeared in 13 contests earlier in the season with 4 goals scored and a +/- of -7. Murphy had 11 appearances prior to being injured in late November. He went scoreless and had 8 penalty minutes with a +/- of -9. The Bobcats return to action Friday night at Huntsville.
