Tree Trimming Coming To Vermilion Street Next Week

The City of Danville Public Works Department will be conducting tree trimming along Vermilion Street from Main Street to Seminary Street during the week of Monday, October 20 through Thursday, October 23. Crews will be working daily from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. During this time, there may be periods when Vermilion Street is reduced to one lane. In addition, some on-street parking spaces may be temporarily utilized by equipment to allow crews to safely perform the trimming operations. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible and to exercise caution when traveling through the work area.
