On behalf of the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office, the Indiana State Police is releasing the following information regarding the sentencing of 36 year old Richard Lark of Pine Village, Indiana. Lark was initially arrested in December 2024 on preliminary charges including five counts of Sexual Misconduct with a Minor, a count of Child Exploitation, and three counts of Possession of Child Pornography. As the investigation progressed, detectives with the Indiana State Police uncovered additional evidence involving the same juvenile victim. This led to a broader case and a total of 23 charges being filed against Lark. On May 15, 2025, Lark pled guilty to all 23 counts pursuant to a plea agreement with the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office. He was sentenced to 52 years to be served in the Indiana Department of Correction. Additional charges include a count of Promotion of Sexual Trafficking of a Younger Child, three additional counts of Sexual Misconduct with a Minor, two additional counts of Child Exploitation, a count of Child Solicitation, five additional counts of Possession of Child Pornography, and a count of Dissemination of Matter Harmful to Minors. The Indiana State Police and the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office remain committed to investigating and prosecuting crimes against children.
