On August 21, 2026, at approximately 11:16 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of N. Vermilion Street for the report of a male exposing his genitals.
The suspect left the scene in his vehicle before officers arrived.
At 12:08 p.m. officers located the suspect vehicle in the 100 block of Delaware Avenue and conducted a traffic stop. The suspect was identified as Juan Cousins, 44, of Danville.
While out with Cousins, officers received another call from a nearby resident requesting to speak due to observing Cousins again exposing his genitals.
Cousins was placed under arrest and transported to the Vermilion County Jail on the charges of public indecency (two counts) and driving while license suspended.
The Danville Police Department reminds the public that all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
