With the summer months quickly approaching, so is the opening of Friendly Town for 2026. This year Friendly
Town has gone under some major upgrades, and we now have brand new, up to date classroom. We have
also continued to improve our existing outside buildings.
During your week at Friendly Town, we will cover many topics including Pedestrian/Bicycle safety, Fire safety,
Stanger Danger, Cyber Safety, Bullying and how to call 911. Friendly Town is taught by Danville Police
School Resource Officers, helping to provide a variety of personality and experience.
This year we will also have all brand new and upgraded battery operated cars for the kids to learn the rules of
the road in.
The program consists of 5 days of instruction for 2 ½ hours each day. There will be a morning class from 8:30-
11:00 and an afternoon class from 1:00-3:30. THE PROGRAM IS OPEN TO ANY CHILD THAT HAS
COMPLETED KINDERGARDEN THROUGH 3RD GRADE. THIS PROGRAM IS COMPLETELY FREE!!!!!!
