On 09/25 around 4:45 a.m., Danville Police (DPD) responded to a residence in the 400 block of Beard St. in reference to a gunshot victim. Upon arrival, officers located a 33-year-old male with an apparent gunshot wound. It was discovered the shooting took place in the 500 block of Harvey Street. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated and eventually released for non-life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation into this incident continues and no other information is being released currently.
