At the June 26 th Board meeting, the DACC Board of Trustees approved the hiring of Dr. Randy Fletcher as the 8th President of Danville Area Community College. Dr. Fletcher has been the College’s Interim President since December 2024. The Board of Trustees worked through a hiring process that included a search for qualified candidates and a committee of 12 stakeholders from across the campus and Foundation to interview the three final candidates. The position was posted on multiple public sites. The Board will now work with Dr. Fletcher to negotiate a contract which will be approved at a future meeting.
