Vermilion County Coroner Jane McFadden stated Wednesday that an early afternoon vehicle traffic crash claimed the life of a Danville man. At approximately 12:10 p.m., a collision at the intersection of South Gilbert Street and Bluff Street in Danville involved a motorcyclist and a SUV. The collision claimed the life of 46 year old Ryan E. Lankster, of Danville. An autopsy is anticipated for today. The Danville Police Department and the Vermilion County Coroner’s office continue to investigate.
