The Roselawn Fitness Center is reopening with new owners. The Fitness Center is now operated by Danville’s Three Kings of Peace.
Chip and Sharon Runyan ran the Fitness Center for many years, but have retired. They knew the Three Kings was trying to develop a location to help young people, so they sold the building to them. Ed Butler is one of the Three Kings and said the organization is hoping to reach young people
The Fitness Center will have an Open House on Sunday from Noon until 4 p.m.
The Three Kings of Peace is a group designed to curb violence. It has held marches, talked to local gang members, gone into local schools and developed training programs to young people can develop work ethics.
