The report from a company called doxo says the cost of living in Danville is 23.6 percent lower than the national average, and 26 percent lower than the state average. It says Danville bills are some 58 hundred dollars per year lower than the U.S. average. Danville households pay almost $1564 a month for the 10 most common household bills.
Doxo is an online billing service which develops surveys for use in the media.
The report says Danville household bills account for 44 percent of annual household income. The average income in Danville is almost 43 thousand dollars. The study indicates that the average mortgage in Danville is $708, and the average rent is $715, the average utilities is $398 dollars, cable and Internet is $153, and a combination of health, auto and life insurance comes in at $440.
