The Vermilion Valley Conference announced their Soccer Awards this week. Announced as first team are Owen Root, Talan Gredy-Nelson, Mason Rush, and Gavin Montez of Hoopeston Area; Brody Taflinger, Ethan Merritt, and Macen Phillips of Oakwood-Salt Fork; Luke Barney and Nathan Blue of Georgetown-Ridge Farm-Westville; Narciso Solorzano and Owen Avelar of Watseka; and Evan Cole of BHRA. Announced as second team are Easton Barney, Simon Ankstatis, and Matthew Darling of Georgetown-Ridge Farm-Westville; Jacob Pricer and Ty Smoot of Oakwood-Salt Fork; Mario Andrade and Angel Andrade of Iroquois West; Angel Brittenham and Brian Morales-Macias of Watseka; Noah Rice of BHRA, and Grayson Kruger of Schlarman.
